Day 2 of creating with cart

Engaging with students and planing our show.

The Second day of training and my head is buzzing with information, ideas and sensory elements.

Today we started with a music workshop exploring sounds, voice and soundscapes. In groups we developed simple repetitive piece with our voices which sounded amazing. Giving us ideas to develop this further to put these techniques into our show.

After lunch we meet with the wonderful children we are performing for. We spent an hour in the classroom playing, getting to know them individually as well as their likes and dislikes.

Our group was given a stimulus of water and from here we are develop a sensory performance experience/show. After much discussion we decided on ‘Bathtime with Bubbles’. Let see what tomorrow brings with regards to devising. Super excited!!!
